Job Opportunities

Founded in 2000, Turning Pointe’s mission is to provide safety and support for survivors through advocacy, prevention education and action for social change. Our Advocates work with over 5,000 adult and youth survivors of domestic and sexual violence every year in our Shelton and Belfair locations. We serve all survivors – we do not discriminate on the basis of gender identification, age, race, ethnicity, religion, marital status, nationality, disability or immigration status.

Our advocates do incredibly meaningful work every day, supporting individuals and families, navigating difficult circumstances. Just as important, we strive to cultivate a workplace rooted in compassion, collaboration, and care – for our clients and for each other. From prioritizing self-care to encouraging mindfulness and peer support, we are intentional about creating a healthy and sustainable work environment. If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a supportive, mission-driven team, we’d love to hear from you!

Calling All Superheroes:

We are currently hiring multiple Emergency Services Advocates to provide critical, front-line support to survivors in crisis. In this role, you will respond to hotline calls, create safety plans, connect clients with resources, and offer compassionate, trauma-informed advocacy and case management. You will also help maintain a safe and welcoming shelter environment, ensuring that every individual who walks through our doors is met with dignity, respect, and care.

At Turning Pointe, how we support our team matters just as much as the work we do. We offer excellent, employer-paid health coverage, retirement contributions, life insurance and a paid one-month sabbatical for every three years worked in addition to a generous PTO plan. We actively promote wellness through mindfulness training, encourage balance and self-care, and provide regular coaching and support from supervisors. This includes weekly coaching sessions, space to process difficult hotline calls with teammates, and responsive support when challenges arise. You will also have access to ongoing training opportunities to help you feel confident, capable, and continuously grow in your role.

We believe strong teams create strong impact, and our organization is truly team led. Every staff member plays a vital role in shaping our work, our culture, and our success. Here, you are not just filling a position. You are part of something bigger.

This is fast-paced, meaningful work that requires empathy, adaptability, and strong communication skills. No two days are the same, but every day makes a difference.
