How it Works
IRA Distribution
If you are 72 or older, you can elect to transfer up to $100,000 a year out of your IRA to Turning Pointe. This donation may have tax advantages. Please check with a Tax professional. The transfer must be made directly to Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center from your IRA custodian. The amount transferred counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
To make the transfer, contact your IRA custodian and tell them you would like to make a “Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)” to:

Bequests
A simple way to support Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center and leave a legacy of hope is through a bequest in your will or living trust.
Bequests to Turning Pointe can be expressed as a dollar amount, a percentage, or all or part of your estate.
If you are ready to include Turning Pointe in your will, you can use this language:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center, 210 Pacific Court, Shelton, WA 98584, which has a federal tax id number of 91-2024833, the sum of $______, or _____% of my residuary estate (or describe the specific asset to be gifted).”
You can make a bequest to Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center by adding a codicil to your will or an amendment to your living trust.

Life Insurance
Contact your Life Insurance provider about adding Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center as a beneficiary to your Life Insurance Policy.
