In my time at Turning Pointe, I have experienced a personal rebirth. Knowing I am safe, not only has allowed my mind to rest and recover, but to dream again about the future ahead of me. There has been a camaraderie among the women, like I have never previously experienced. We have gathered together on many occasions to share meals, and our stories and to be there for each other in ways only other women in similar circumstances can fully appreciate. Staff have been stellar in their service. I have been asked repeatedly if there is anything that I need, or any help in accessing available resources. I have been treated with the upmost compassion, care and genuine concern for my wellbeing. I am forever grateful for both my time and experiences here at Turning Pointe, and look forward to the time I can return to hopefully be a part of the compassionate team of women. I have recently been hired for a fantastic career, have accessed services and housing opportunities and look forward with renewed hope to a bright and healthy future, out on my own.
